Whereas motorbikes that have power output up to 25kW and power weight ratio up to 0.16kW/kg; bikes with accessories such as a sidecar and ratio of power weight up to 0.16kW/kg, and motorbike of any size, that is with a sidecar or without one, if only you have completed the large motorbikes direct access scheme can also get categorized under license a (carnet a) category. 2013 took another shape with a further split of motorbikes category into A, A1, and A2.
